Consumer & Clinical Trials

Every Osmotics hero is built on actives that have been studied — and carried at the concentration the study used, not a trace added so the ingredient can appear on the box. Below is each product, what was tested, and where to read the data in full.

What kind of evidence is this? Each product page carries two things, kept apart on purpose: ingredient-level clinical studies (independent research on the active, at the level we carry it at) and consumer-perception results (what users reported after 4 or 8 weeks of use). Where a formula’s ingredient evidence is in vitro — cell cultures rather than volunteers — we say so on that page.

These are ingredient studies — independent research on the active itself, at the concentration we carry it at. Where an active sits below the level its research used, we make no claim for it. We publish the study design, not the formula: exact concentrations are proprietary.

  1. Collagen-boosting peptide duo (palmitoyl tripeptide-1 + palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7). Supplier study: placebo-controlled, half-face, twice-daily use over 2 months; silicone-imprint skin topography. Clinically dosed in Firming Elasticity Repair; carried above the studied level in PRIME Face.
  2. Firming peptide (Uplevity™, Lipotec). Supplier study on women with sagging skin and loss of elasticity, twice daily for 56 days; firmness and elasticity endpoints. Clinically dosed in PRIME Face — an exact match to the studied level.
  3. Eye peptides (Eyeseryl® and Haloxyl™). Supplier studies: 20 volunteers, twice daily for 60 days, dermatologist-graded puffiness; and 22 volunteers, twice daily for 56 days, instrumental colorimetry of the under-eye area. Both carried at or above their studied levels in the Under Eye Rejuvenator.
  4. PRIME Eye peptide stack. Every active checked against the batch formula and the suppliers’ published use levels. Full supplier dossiers requested; see the product evidence page for what is and is not yet on file.
  5. Volumising peptide (Adifyline®, Lipotec). 22 female volunteers aged 50–60; cream applied twice daily for 14 days; 3D fringe projection. Clinically dosed in the Sleep Tight Mask — an exact match to the studied level.
  6. Firming peptide (Coheliss®, SILAB). Placebo-controlled, twice daily: skin tone and tension at 28 days, wrinkle surface area at 56 days. Clinically dosed in Lipofill.
  7. Stretch-mark peptide (Regestril™). Supplier study: 13 subjects with recent post-partum stretch marks, 2 months. Clinically dosed in the Anti-Aging Body Lift.
  8. Hyaluronic lip complex (Hilurlip™). Supplier study: 10 volunteers vs 10 on placebo, Visioscan; +18% lip volume over 30 days.
  9. Anti-glycation peptide (Aldenine®). IN VITRO — measured in human fibroblast cultures, not on volunteers. Clinically dosed in Moisture Cloud, but this is not a human clinical result and is never presented as one.
  10. Copper peptide. Peer-reviewed literature, not supplier marketing: Maquart et al., FEBS Letters, 1988 (collagen synthesis in fibroblasts); further reviews in Cosmetics, 2017.
  11. Consumer-perception results. The percentages and before/after photography on each product page are consumer-perception results from use of the finished product over 4 or 8 weeks.
