Dryness & Dehydration

Tight, flaky, dull skin that drinks in moisture and still feels parched is a barrier problem, not a water problem. This edit rebuilds it — skin-identical ceramides, phytosterols and occlusives to hold moisture in, with hyaluronic acid and humectants to draw it back.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between dry and dehydrated skin?

Dry skin lacks OIL — a skin type, flaky and rough. Dehydrated skin lacks WATER — a condition, which can happen to oily skin too, and it feels tight and looks dull. Most people have both, which is why the fix has two halves: humectants to draw water in, lipids to stop it escaping.

What should I use?

For tight, thirsty skin, the Hyaluronic Acid Serum — then SEAL it, or it will not hold. For a compromised barrier, Moisture Cloud (skin-identical ceramides, phytosterols and an anti-pollution shield). For parched, irritated, genuinely dry skin, Cream Extreme Intensive Repair — rich occlusives plus barrier lipids. Overnight, the Sleep Tight Mask seals everything beneath it.

Is hyaluronic acid enough on its own?

No. Hyaluronic acid holds water, but on its own in a dry environment it can pull moisture out of the skin. It needs sealing with a moisturiser containing lipids or occlusives — which is exactly what Moisture Cloud and Cream Extreme are built to do.

How do I know if my barrier is damaged?

Stinging with products that never used to sting, redness, tightness, flaking, and skin that suddenly reacts to everything. Stop the actives, rebuild with ceramides for two weeks, then reintroduce them slowly.
