What does hyaluronic acid do?

It is a humectant: it holds many times its weight in water, plumping the skin from within and softening the look of fine lines. It hydrates — it does not repair the barrier, which is a different job.

Which product should I use?

The Hyaluronic Acid Serum for tight, thirsty skin. Overnight, the Sleep Tight Mask. For lips, the Lip Plumper uses a hyaluronic complex to add volume without a needle.

Why does it sometimes make my skin feel drier?

Because it was not sealed. In a dry environment, hyaluronic acid can pull moisture out of the skin unless you lock it in with a lipid-rich moisturiser — Moisture Cloud or Cream Extreme.

When do I apply it?

On slightly damp skin, before your moisturiser. Damp skin gives it water to hold.
