Frequently Asked Questions

What causes dark spots?

Overwhelmingly UV exposure — which is why they appear on the face, hands and chest. Hormonal pigmentation and marks left behind after blemishes are the other two causes. All three respond to the same strategy: inhibit new pigment, accelerate turnover of what is already there, and — non-negotiably — wear SPF.

What should I use to fade them?

Start with the Vitamin C Serum in the morning: vitamin C both brightens tone and defends against the UV damage that creates new spots. Add the Retinol Serum at night for turnover and texture. If you want both plus hydration, the Serum Bundle carries all three. For instant evening-out while the actives work, the Inner Light Bio Defense Primer blurs and shields against blue light.

Will SPF really make a difference?

It is the single most important thing on this page. Treating pigmentation without daily sun protection is emptying a bath with the tap running.

How long does it take?

Eight to twelve weeks of consistent use for visible change in pigmentation. Radiance and tone improve sooner — often within a few weeks of starting antioxidants.
